Tunnel Vision

An angel looked at God’s heavens, God’s throne, God’s mount of assembly, God’s clouds, and God Himself and the angel said within himself basically “I will” take all this from God and become God (Is. 14:13,14).
I see an angel standing in this place with the view of the heavens spread out vastly above him. He can see God’s throne sitting on the mount of the congregation, the heights of the clouds, and himself sitting there on the throne as God.
He focused in on the throne with the belief if he could take the throne he would overthrow God. The possession of the throne meant God to him. Charging the throne by force and gaining control of the throne was becoming God. He saw a throne as God.
He lost sight of God, narrowing God down to an authoritative throne. The conclusion is the throne is the key to all of God. He was looking through a tunnel with the goal vision at the end of it making the throne his own and becoming God all the while the towering mountain above the tunnel was just a tip of God.
He was guilty of putting God in a box of his own belief. He lost sight that God created all things. The heavens, the throne, the mount in the midst of the congregation, the heights of the clouds were protective layers for all His creations. God has always protected His creations with layers so that they could interact with Him and live. In the book of 1 Timothy it is revealed to us in verse 16 there is a place with an unapproachable light that no one has seen or can see. In the concept of God being all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present to see Him without layers of protection such as heavens, a throne at a certain location with clouds tells me God is more than any creation can handle and live in His fullness of Light. God from the beginning of all creations has protected them from the fullness of His light out of love for us all.
This angel within himself created a tunnel vision to a throne, a place God chose to visit His creations – a protective place to visit with them. I encourage you to read about the different layers of protection God has used from the beginning to all creations (Is. 6+more). He even created us in a form and likeness that could resemble Him if He chose a physical existence making us His children with the birth of our eternal spirits from His own breath. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made (Jn. 1:3).  For in him we live, and move, and have our being… For we are also his offspring (Acts 17:28). God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present everywhere at once at the same time – one God, nothing outside of Him.
The angel that narrowed his vision to a tunnel like view of the throne representing to him the way to become God himself was what he used on Eve and Adam the children of God – not angels. Eve accepted the tunnel vision to become like God by disobeying the one and only thing not to do was eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil with Adam joining her decision. The angel took the tunnel vision of the throne and got Eve and Adam focus in on the one forbidden fruit in all of the world just as the fallen angel lost sight that God was more than just a throne.
The totality of God was not in a throne or in a forbidden fruit divided against itself, but an all-present, all-powerful, all-knowing God was behind layers covering Himself in an unapproachable light that no one can survive seeing.
God loves us so much He is constantly reaching out to us through different layers that we can handle, understand, perceive, and digest into our spirits of Himself. Why do you think we feel, sense, and receive the things we do when we are for some in the mountains, on the oceans, in the woods, by the lakes, quietly meditating, singing, praying, studying, dreaming and the list goes on showing the reaching spirit hand of God by layers to embrace you with the fullness of truth about Him. He has given us a book inspired by His Spirit (2 Peter 1:21) to guide us and keep us in check – the Bible. For the fallen angel with the tunnel vision is trying to keep you and all of mankind locked-in with the same narrow tunnel vision attempting to keep you from seeing the massiveness of the Almighty God.
God said, in a way for us to understand a tiny bit about Him that “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? Has not my hand-made all these things, and so they came into being?” This is why God had to create His own vessel in the flesh like unto His children to save them from the deceptive tunnel vision of lies through this body He called the Lamb of God – Jesus Christ (Col. 2:9, Heb. 2:14). This body God created, a layer of protection, has the purest blood to wash away all our sins through water baptism in Jesus name because His blood is inside the name. God can infill us with His Spirit because now our sins can be washed away creating a vessel inside of us able to live with His Spirit and ours (Acts 2:38 – second birth).
If you want to get out of the tunnel the fallen angel of this world pulled over Adam and Eve (mankind) then be born again of the water and the spirit you then can see endlessly into the all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present God who loves you. Set yourself free from the oppressing dark tunnel with the false light at the end and make the free choice of all of yourself with all of God together in oneness fellowship of eternal life. God bless you and may your journey with God be a new discovery of His light everyday.

Think Outside the Box

A box by our definition is a container with a flat base and sides, typically square or rectangular and having a lid. A box is a limited area of space contained within it’s defined walls of measurement.  Over time you probably have heard “think outside the box“, “put yourself in other peoples shoes“, and “there are always two sides to a story“. There is a box that most do not see, yet gazes upon it daily, lives with it, and act upon without knowing it exists.

When I say, “box” what is the first image that pops into your head? My first thought was the brown cardboard boxes you could play inside cutting doors, windows, and spy holes. Some will think of Christmas boxes, delivery boxes, candy boxes, and on. Now, you and I have gone through a variety of boxes let us focus on one box. I see a box sitting in the floor in a large room with all sides closed. In this room it is very small compared to the couch, chair, recliner, coffee table and other assorted living room items. Our every day life seems like this box in the floor with everything else around it towering over it in size. I hope you will see the power inside this box by the end of this past the surface thought.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. I have looked into the heavens by day and by night. The creation my eyes have looked upon have seemed so vast and endless with the mountains, valleys, clouds, and stars. God created the sun for the day and the moon/stars for the night. I can see them from where I stand and yet their distance from from me is far from my hand. God divided the water from the land and thinned it out for the air that we breathe. My eyes have seen the wide rivers, the vast lakes, and the seemingly endless oceans. God created the plants, various vegetation, and the trees. Using the images recorded in my mind of the green fields, corn fields…, and the different kind of trees seem to supersede my mind from counting them across the valleys and mountains.

Now, take yourself to the largest site you can recall ever seeing whether it is the Grand Canyon, the pyramids of Giza, great wall of China, any oceans, or the great smoky mountains and just stand there in your imagination remembering how huge it was and how tiny you were in the middle of it all. I remember how I thought it was a beautiful towering sight all around me and vastness in size. Out of all that you see in this creation you and I were that small box in the middle of it all that God breathed His breathe of life inside that fleshly box made from the dust of the earth a living eternal being formed in an image and likeness of God.

Mankind was born inside a fleshly box. Ge. 2:7 “…God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” (NIV). Our box is the physical container for our spirit. We are all born inside a box, but not a box you may think about in our standard definition. This is a time to hang on because we are now headed towards seeing outside our box putting into motion an exploration of “thinking outside our box” as we were meant to be. In all creation only we were the box of flesh God breathed His eternal breathe of life into. Our box of flesh is not made of a single part, but so many parts that the smartest people on the planet are still discovering new things in this complicated box of flesh, even with technologies help. We have feet and hands on the furthermost ends of our limbs. We have eyes and ears that are neighbors, but with very different personalities and functions. Our complicated fleshly bodies is a tiny representation of the image and likeness of God. He created our box of flesh in way it pleased Him as our Father, how each little part in all its plurality in one flesh box would slightly represent Himself, and how He wanted His children look like. God is so vast with no end to His presence, His power, and His intelligence. Everything about us from the tiniest unseen by the natural eye to the largest visible part is a complicated representation of Him.  There is so much more, but lets pause and slow down to the fact we are born inside a box – a box of flesh.

Have you ever had things right in front of you suddenly was revealed to be totally the opposite of what you thought? This can be from a friend who you thought was a friend, but in reality was not. A boyfriend/girlfriend that you married and after marriage their true nature came out. The examples are almost endless from parents, teachers, relatives, neighbors, outwardly religious appearances, bosses, and so on. The saying of “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me” is a cousin to “thinking outside the box” of learning to move forward with perception and understanding. Our boxes were closed on the day when Adam and Eve did not listen to God and accepted the lies of the devil. Out fleshly box closed into sexual immorality, hatred, jealousy, rage, selfishness, dissensions, envy, drunkenness, and other impurities (Gal. 5:19-21). Our fleshly box became such an earthly sinful nature that we struggle getting outside our box to the things of God because it is our spiritual man that can see them (1 Cor. 2:14). If you read any history books, stories and even reading the Bible you can see so many examples of things right in front of their faces yet they could not see with perception and hear with understanding (Mt. 13:15).
We all have tried things that causes our flesh to feel highs. I came to point in life of trying different fleshly things for happiness that a whispering thought came to me that I had tried everything else why not try Me (God). So, I did try God and found myself soaring high in the clouds with the eagles outside my fleshly box with understandings and perceptions I had never had before. I began to reach outside my fleshly box asking God questions finding revelations. Just like you are reading about Him pointing out to me that my spirit inside this fleshly box is not to be deceived in living this life only (1 Cor. 15:19), but to live the life that I know I will live past this flesh more abundantly (Jn. 10″10).
In all creation God wants your spirit to be free. Your spirit is His treasure to be saved from the blinding lies of the fleshly box we are born with. Inside your little box dwarfed by all of the vastness of this world’s creations. He wants us to experience what Peter tasted from the Lord when Jesus asked whom do men say that I am and Peter answered him and said that you are the Christ, the son of the living God. Jesus told Peter that he was blessed because his knowledge did not come from his flesh and any other flesh, but a direct connection of the Father’s Spirit revealed it unto him (Mtt. 16:17, Jn. 17:3). This is outside the box of flesh to be born again of the water and the spirit. An educated religious man, Nicodemus wanted to reach outside his box of flesh and Jesus told him he must be born again. He was still thinking inside his box of flesh and wondered how can a man be born again when he is old, can he enter his mother womb a second time. Jesus said that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which born of the spirit is spirit (Jn. 3). Outside our box of fleshly thinking of being born again of the water and the spirit is being baptized in water in Jesus name, the blood of forgiveness is in Jesus name washing away our sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit of God will be known to have entered our fleshly box becoming one with our spirit by the sign of speaking in another language we have not learned by our fleshly box of worldly education (Acts 2:38), but by heavenly guidance. This is the second birth of water and of spirit. Once He is inside of us then we can fly free into all truth as the Holy Spirit guides us (Jn. 16:13).  My fleshly box, fleshly body, fleshly house/apartment now has the best roommate of the Holy Spirit of God, which I can truly think outside the box, putting myself in other peoples shoes, and hearing all sides of the story to give an answer of wisdom and truth outside myself because the source comes from heaven with purity, peace, gentleness, considerate, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (Ja. 3:17). I want more of Him and less of me to taste more heavenly things absent from this box of flesh.
It is awesome to be born again a new creature in Christ old things are passed away and all things are made new (2 Cor. 5:17) with the blessings of being called good and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving (1 Tim. 4:4). Start reading the new testament or any part of the Bible again and you will see people who talked to Jesus (God) seeing outside their fleshly box (Mt. 8:8 speak the word, man of authority). With your eyes open you will see not only the things of God, but the people around you trapped inside their box. Let your spirit be free from the restrictions the box your spirit lives in and be born again renewing yourself in Him every day.
Standing in that memory of the vast mountains, oceans, and great lands the most treasured love of God’s heart is what is inside your fleshly box – where your spirit will spend eternity. He hopes you will live with Him as any true loving Father would.
