The weather is the first thing that comes to my mind that is in the “Out of Your Control” category. The next thought is the words that come out of people’s mouth, which reminds me of reading in the Bible the book of James 3:8 about no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. People’s actions would also be in the “Out of Your Control” category. I am sure you could list many more things and I would encourage you to do so. Accepting and admitting there are some things “Out of Your Control” are the first steps to understanding and peace.
James 3:8 “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.“
THE SUN
As the earth rotates we see the sun everyday shining its light while darkness remains on the opposite side of the earth. It is a cycle of light and darkness that all of mankind has accepted as out of their control. God created the light to shine our of darkness. He put light inside a darkness region. A treasure continuous light and warmth that cannot be stopped for all creatures to behold. Treasure inside darkness is what I want you to see and focus upon during these last days.
God has given to us in the darkness of our bodies a treasure to shine the light for our soul to see. His son light will shine everyday when we open our eyes and our consciousness awakens. The dark space around the sun cannot stop it from shining no matter how dark it may get. Could you imagine if God put the sun inside of our bodies to always shine upon the world of our souls? The dark things around us should not stop or influence the son of God from shining inside our bodies where our minds, hearts, and souls exist.
2 Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.“
THE WIND
Have you ever stepped outside seeing the trees, flags, or other types of things being moved or swaying by something you could not see? We know it as the wind. The earth’s wind is something else in the “Out of Your Control” category. The wind blows where it wishes and we can hear the sound of it, feel it on our skin, and see the affects it has on other objects, but we cannot control it.
You cannot stop the wind from blowing around the earth no more than you can stop the sun. The sun causes the wind to blow by the cold and warm temperatures. Could you imagine if God put His wind blowing inside our bodies bringing fresh air of inspiration, brisk truth, and pure wisdom caused by His son shining upon our spirit? The treasure God has put inside of us cannot be stopped unless we choose not to open the fellowship with the treasure He gave us. We have the free will choice of what happens inside of us.
John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 16:13 “13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…“. James 3:17 “17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.“
THE EARTH
In this world we have all kinds of troubles, perplexing situations, and different levels of persecutions, and things that knock us down that fit in the “Out of Your Control” category. When troubles come along from the outside it is time to look inside the treasure God gave us to make our spirit uncrushable. When perplexing things from the outside tries to persuade us with doubt it is time to look inside the treasure of God for all the memories of never being abandoned or forsaken. When something from the outside knocks you down it is time to look to the treasure of God has provided for you to never be destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8 “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;“
This is why we do not lose courage for the things “Out of Your Control” categories. All the things outside our bodies are out of our control with only the influence we may try to pass onto them, but the one thing that is in our control are the things we choose and allow inside our minds, hearts, and souls even when our bodies are heading towards decay and death, our inner self is being renewed daily by the treasure of God inside us. We should not fear the things out of our control that can kill our fleshly bodies and cannot kill our soul because we are protected by the treasure God gave us and He is the only one who can allow both the body and the soul to go to the place of eternal death.
2 Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” Mtt. 10:28 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” A reverence fear when it comes to God.
HEAVEN IS OUR HOME
If we have faith in the treasure God has given us inside our fleshly bodies, His Holy Spirit and Word, we will count the things in this world that is out of our fleshly control as a light and transient troubles, which all things are being converted to a weight of glory inside us and working together for the good to those God shines His love upon. We can have hope when others do not.
We do not focus on the troubles, perplexations, persecutions, and knock downs from the outside that we see, but on the things God has given us in the spiritual treasures of the unseen because that which we see with our fleshly eyes are temporary and will pass away, while the unseen are eternal and never pass away. We can practice looking to God and heaven to keep ourselves straight.
2 Corinthians 4:17 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.“
No matter the weather on the outside (rain, fog, cold, etc.), no matter the weather on the news media (fake, bad, partial, twisted, real), no matter the weather on Facebook (opinions, restrictions, data mining, blocked, censorship, etc.), no matter the weather on Twitter (banned, unfair, bias, hypocrisy, etc.), no matter the weather in the government (greed, power hungry, façade, stupidity, etc.) no matter anywhere else that is “Out of Your Control” the one place you can control is inside your mind, heart, and soul with the help of God’s treasure you receive when you are born again of the water and of the spirit (Acts 2:38).
We have this treasure from God inside of us and if we allow the things inside the treasure to live, move and have it’s being inside of us those on the outside will witness that this is of God and not of us. There is more to us and we are not alone. Don’t worry about the things your cannot control, but focus on the things in your mind, heart, and soul you can control from withdrawing strength in the treasure God gave you. May the weather inside you always be God’s son light and God’s wind of inspiration.
2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.“
Romans 6:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.“
