Can God Forget

When we think of God we think of Omnipresent (equally present everywhere at once), Omniscient (knowing all things), and Omnipotent (all powerful). To call Him God is to say there is nothing impossible to Him for that is what makes Him God. Anything less He could not be called God.

We do not believe He lacks, falls short, or cannot do anything. The thoughts of Him having any restrictions makes our minds freeze up with doubts and that it cannot be for He is God. We don’t want Him to be like us. We want Him to be above all, undefeatable, knows everything, and never fails.

Can God Forget” being a Omniscient (knowing all things) God? We are a people who know what it is like making choices every day. We change our minds whenever we want. It is a fine line to look at God when it comes to choices because we think it is only a mankind thing.

God is a God of choice. Can God make a choice of His own that would remove Him from knowing all things? What if God chooses not remember something under a certain condition that is met? Him being all knowing (Omniscient) will it be remembered? If He chooses not to remember does that take away from Him being God?

These are very powerful provoking thoughts. Can we as mankind hold God to being only what we believe Him to be or do we release ourselves into seeing Him as His own person/Spirit with the freedom of choice while maintaining His place as the One True Almighty God?

There are several hidden things in plain sight in His Bible about Him being God yet restricting Himself by choice from certain things. Does this make Him not God because He decided on His own not to do certain things? Can God be the Almighty if He restricts Himself? Obviously, there is no other force that can force restrictions on God, but God can do it Himself.

Can I see your thoughts? Can I force your thoughts to be only good? Can anyone know 100% what is in another person’s spirit? 1 Cor. 2:11 (NIV) “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” The answer is “No” to controlling your thoughts. You have to make that choice.

Could it be His restrictions are what make Him the only existence of good? “…No one is good—except God alone.” (Mk. 10:18; Lk. 18:19, NIV). If God did not restrict himself then would he not be like the devil? Without restricting Himself would not His good be mixed with evil? The devil does not restrict himself to one side of good or evil. He can be an angel of light using good to deceive and a devil inflecting cruel torturing ways of death (disease, decapitations, ripping the skin with a whip, nailing to a cross to suffer slowly and die…etc).

Can God still be God if He restricts himself? Can God forget? Is it possible for God to lock away certain areas that cannot be accessed even by Himself? This is where you and I start thinking about we can forgive someone, but the memory of it will not go away. It is still there in our brain to be accessed anytime whether awake or asleep. We get tripped up at this point bringing God down to our level.

Our thoughts will always try to relate God to our level. When it should be our level releases to God because Is. 55:9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Everything created is a tiny, which is not a small enough word, reflection of God. It should not be bringing Him down to compare with us. It should be us going up to Him to compare His actions with Himself. Is.55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.

CAN GOD FORGET – Absolutely Awesome

Remember earlier I said in a question, “Is it possible for God to lock away certain areas that cannot be accessed even by Himself?” God has restricted Himself to His Word. He cannot change His own Word. He created a vault that even He Himself cannot access. With Adam and Eve the vault was called a seed/offspring/a child. God created two vaults (keywords). One was a vault of flesh and the other was a vault of Spirit.

Because God restricts or creates something He refuses to access does it make Him less and not God anymore? Is He less than us and cannot make choices of His own free will? You and I make choices that end with mistakes or bad results. Is God at our level in making choices for Himself that was a mistake or bad results? Is His creation all on Him or is it all on the creation for not standing alone on the right choices? Is it God’s fault a hypocrite existences or is the person who chooses freely on their own to be a mixed good and evil to be a hypocrite? God’s choice was to separate Himself from evil. This is why the devil and his angels got kicked out of heaven.

God’s restricted vault was made of flesh and dwelt among men (Jn. 1:14). This was a special vault of flesh and a vault of Himself (Col. 2:9 All the fullness of Godhead dwelt in him bodily) with His eradicating blood of sin inside. This special body (vault of flesh) God restricted walked among us in this world, though He made this world, they did not recognize Him (Jn. 1:10). This is a result of trying to force God down to our level instead of us going to His and seeing Him from His actions.

God took in all that we face in this world into His body (vault of flesh) Jesus the man for the sole purpose (Heb. 2:14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil ) to pay our slave debt price and lock away sin that even He could not access.

When the body of Jesus (vault of flesh) was on the cross dying Jesus said, “…My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Mtt. 27:46; Mk 15:34). This is when God sealed the vault of flesh to never be accessed or to see the things inside on this day ever again. Can God Forget?

VAULT OF FLESH

This is why the apostles and the Bible only shows a record of people being baptized in water in Jesus name (Acts 2:38; birth of the water, Jn. 3:5) because they are walking through the vault of the flesh of Jesus that God restricted by the blood forgiving sins and remembering them no more (Heb. 8:12 “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”).

GOD CAN FORGET even though He is All knowing (Omniscient) by His own choice of restrictions without taking away from His All powerful status. He created a vault of flesh to carry Himself (vault of Spirit) among man, to save man, and create a pure place of fellowship.

After three days the vault of flesh was brought back to life with the sealing power of remembering sins no more and the vault of the Spirit was completed ready to be distributed to all you wants God to forget their sins and to be born of the water and spirit.

If we meet the conditions of Repenting and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins (vault of flesh) and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (vault of the Spirit, new creature in Christ 2 Cor. 5:17). Being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ takes us into the vault of flesh where the blood God ordained for washing away of our sins coming out of that vault for God to never access or remember any of our past sins. The vault of God’s Spirit enters us fulfilling the born again of His Spirit inside of us making us like Jesus to be taught and shown how to live this life pleasing to God.

GOD’S RESTRICTIONS

God can restrict Himself by His own choice without diminishing His status as the One True Almighty God. God completed His own word by His choice through the man Jesus Christ for our sake to have the ability to forgive us and remember our sins no more because it is fulfilled in Jesus giving us a brand new chance.

How many other restrictions has God put on Himself for us?
