Knowing is the beginning to making a decision of wrapping your thoughts, your belief, and your life around that something. ‘Beginning‘ is a starting point. A place you can go forward into understanding and perceiving. If you love something you will want all the knowledge you can of that something to strengthen and prove the love to be real. “To Know Him” is journey that I began a long time ago when out of the darkness His voice called me into the light.

He showed me a side of Him that I consider very deep that branches out in many directions. I hope as you read you will see Him in the same glowing light I did when He showed me. I discovered that “To Know Him” is part of the meaning of eternal life. What is eternal life? Eternal life is knowing the one true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent (Jn. 17:3) to us here on earth. ‘To Know Him‘ is without boundaries to a never-ending journey filled with breath taking lights of truth opening our trapped minds and hearts to take flight into the air of eternal wings of freedom.

The things I may say have no meaning to some, but to others who have lived in the past, still living in the present, and their tomorrow’s have it waiting on them of hard times will understand what it means to live in darkness. Depending on the level of your hardships in this life you may have had will determine the depth you will seek “To Know Him“. This is why I consider this a deep subject because looking into His world is a challenge for us to open our minds to His level, but it is a complete worthy attempt on our part because that is all He wants.

Before the beginning, during the beginning, and after the beginning there was God. ‘Beginning‘ is a start of something measured by time. God was before time. Before there was a start of anything there was God. Try your best to erase from your imagination all things you have seen to exist from text books, to looking up at the stars at night, the sun by day, the planets from outer space pictures. Empty out of your mind of all creations you have stored. You will see God.

There was only God before the beginning of all things. God is a Spirit (Jn. 4:24) with no restrictions of distance, knowledge, or power to His Spirit. God does not have a beginning or an ending as all the things we know. For His Spirit side He does not have a solid substance as we do of flesh and bones (Lu. 24:39). This is where you release the limits of your mind giving God His true vastness. If everything is empty of creations in your mind then you should see only God everywhere with nothing else. His consciousness was everywhere. His power was everywhere together all at once. This is why He is known as the One true God because He cannot be divided (Is. 45:5) if He is everywhere in consciousness and power at once.

There was no sun, no stars, no moon, no earth, no angels, and no heavenly throne absolutely no beginning to anything only the unlimited vastness of God’s presence, intelligence, and power. This is where God wanted me to start looking at Him. He was all alone being everywhere at once, conscious everywhere at once and His power everywhere at once.

We are ready to start in getting “To know Him”. When God wanted something He used His Word to make things solid. When His Spirit desired something He used His Word side to make it a tangible substance. He took a tiny part of His intelligence, presence, and power to come together through His Word side to create something with a beginning.

When our spirit wants something it uses our flesh side to go get it. Our spirit inside our fleshly body uses the body to get that something it wants. We are made in the image and likeness of God (Ge. 1:26). We have a dual nature about us. We have basically our fleshly body and our spirit inside. God has a dual nature about Himself. He has His Spirit side being everywhere at once, knowing all things at once, and powering all things at once. He has His Word side that creates all things.

When God’s Spirit wants something His Word side would make it. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” (Jn 1:1-3). He wanted different kinds of eternal beings that would never die. His Word side created, just like our hands would make something, made angels completely of solid eternal substance. His Word side created a place to live around Him in a centralized place we call from here from earth – “heaven”. His Word side like unto our body side created all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through His Word side and for His Word side. “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.“(Col. 1:16,17)

Before we go any further ‘To Know Him‘ I want you to stop and think inside your mind right now on something you wanted deep from within yourself and what actions did you take to reach that goal? I saw within myself my spirit wanted something and it took over control of my body taking me to those places reaching with my hands moving my mouth speaking the words for those desires of my spirit. There are times our spirit does take over our bodies, but not as much as our bodies control our spirit for the things of this world, but there are those times. This will really get you if you can see yourself inside your body wanting something and using your physical body to take action for that desire. This is what God did from His Spirit side through His Word side.

When you see me you see my looks and when I see you I see your looks. When we talk and interact with each other we are seeing and hearing the spirit within our bodies controlling what information comes out between us. Our bodies are easily visible, but out spirits within are not so easy to see. We do not see God’s Spirit side so easily, but His Word side can be seen if we know where to look.

God from within Himself desired to have things and His Word took action towards bringing those things into being. All things created are a reflection of God’s desire. SIDE NOTE: Now, if your mind jumped into the evil things of this world remember it is what we did with God. He gave us and the angels a free will chance with Him. It is not His fault because of the results of evil. It is because of what we did with Him (His words of warning Ge. 2:17, the forbidden fruit…). Some angels took His substance that they were made of and wanted to mix His good with darkness. Eve and Adam wanted something else more than God. It is what we did with Him not what He did with us. The angel’s or our free will rejected Him desiring to be above Him. Only He can handle keeping the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil in its proper place.

BACK ON TRACK: ‘all things created is a reflection of Him‘ and His desires, when His Spirit took action through His Word in creating the sun light He had these words to say, “It is good” (Ge. 1:4). God was happy. How many of us could speak from our spirit and have something made in front of our eyes? We are His children and we do have certain levels of power to speak from our spirit and have our body, like His Word, do what we want (advancement of technology). You do have His power of choice. You can speak from your spirit that you want to be free, you want ‘To Know Him‘, you want good, you want forgiveness, you want happiness, you want joy, you want to go to heaven, you want to stop being evil, you want the truth. He will grant us such things becoming one with Him once again.

Your spirit can make your fleshly knees kneel down; make your tongue speak the brokenness from your heart to Him, and make your hands rise into the air before God surrendering. You have the power to reach out to Him and find Him. Your spirit can rise up making the house of flesh you live in walk towards His loving light.

He, once again had a desire in His Spirit. In His Spirit He desired to save us from this world of sorrow and pain. His Spirit side took action through His Word side placing a physical/spiritual promise of a day He would come to save us (Ge. 3:15) because the day we desired to be above God eating the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil darkness had complete control of this world and us.

When the day came God became flesh as one of us with His all present Spirit still everywhere He had His Word side walking among us for His desired purpose to save us. The Spirit and the Word is the one and the same One true God. His dual nature of being Spirit substance to His active Word solid substance walked among us showing us how to be saved and how to be true children of God. He released the secrets “To Know Him” through the man Jesus. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.“”The same was in the beginning with God” “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us…” (Jn. 1:1,2,14)

Here is an insight to God wanting something: A man approached Jesus for the healing of someone dear to his heart. This man wanted from his spirit this healing. His spirit made his body take the journey for his spirit’s desire. He asks Jesus for this healing, but God inside of Jesus wanted to extract out of this man’s spirit what was a hidden treasure for all to hear and see. Jesus asked should he come to the man’s place to heal his loved one. What God wanted from this man started coming forth when the man spoke from his spirit. The man spoke quickly from his spirit moving his vocal cords, tongue, and lips voicing His profession, I am unworthy that you should come under my roof, but if you just speak the Word I know my servant will be healed. God desired to bring out this man for everyone to hear this treasure of understanding that God called great. The man continued to explain his reason for ‘just speak the word, Lord‘ professing with his spirit flowing outward of his body revealing he is a man with earthly authority to speak things to be done that Jesus was a man under God’s authority to speak things to be done. (Mtt. 8:8-10). Wow!

This man’s faith saw past the surface of the flesh looking into the Spirit of God declaring when You speak it shall be done. How very close this man came to revealing God’s Spirit having a desire for something to be and God sets His Word side into motion making that something happen. Did this man see the Spirit of God that when He desired and began to speak through His Word that this was as the promise of: “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Is. 55:11)? Wow, does this not make you want “To Know Him”?

Right now God’s Spirit has a desire looking at you, your family, your friends, and as many as there are far away (Acts 2:39). Do you want His Word to be free to work in your life? He holds Himself back for one reason only and that is for your spirit to desire Him. He gives us His Spirit and His Word as an unbreakable bond waiting for us to meet Him with our spirit and our word from a made up mind of wanting to be a part of His family forever. An unbreakable oneness with Him far different from the oneness relationships of this world.

If I have any power within myself I want to give Him my word and my spirit in full trust that I will never live a day in this life without His happiness, His mercy, His grace, His fellowship, His wisdom, and His salvation living, moving, and having His being freely inside my life. Can you imagine having the God before all beginnings inside your body as a roommate to your spirit? If you have read this far you will see a person who is still living in a harsh world, but inside my body is the best roommate a person could ever have in this life and the one to come. I have His Spirit/Word living in me with the storms on the outside, but sunshine on the inside.

I am telling you ‘To Know Him‘ with all your heart, mind, and soul there will be no regrets. He will never lead you astray, back stab you, gossip on you, betray you, or leave you. He loves you so much. He wants you to receive the power of His Spirit and to be covered by His love. He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is moved in His Spirit and will send forth His Word upon you giving you the in filling of His Spirit as they did in (Acts 2:4) with the evidence coming out of your own mouth you have received Him and a water baptism of forgiveness in the name of Jesus (Word in flesh, holy blood) washing away all your sins (Acts 2:38). I have never felt freer in all my life than the day I was born again of the water and of the Spirit (Jn 3:1-6; Acts 2:38). He wants His Spirit and His Word to be one with your spirit and your word.

“To Know Him” has put me on a path of light away from darkness. “To Know Him” gives me happiness that no words could be expressed to completely convey the inward freedom. “To Know Him” makes me want to help you anyway I can to find Him yourself and start your own personal journey with Him. The happiness in my soul for you to start your own walk with Him brings tears of joy swelling up from deep within my spirit to the surface of the eyes of my body turning them into waterfalls of gratefulness. “To Know Him” in His Spirit and in His Word (Jesus) is eternal life. Your life is too short and too precious to go through it bitter and upset make that choice of change. Have a great day not matter what comes your way.
