Before anything was created as we know it there was water. The water was empty of anything solid. There was no round watery earth just liquid water empty and formless. There was so much water that it was bigger than the earth and bigger than space. In the beginning “the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
When you read the scriptures about creation you begin to see the massiveness of size and space God created. We always focus on the earth being without form, void, and darkness, but do we look at the water? How much water was there in the beginning with God?
It is almost like there was so much water that it filled all of the universe and beyond on what we have discovered. Science tells us that they have found frozen water on Mars. We think the oceans are a huge body of water. What about thinking of water being as large as the farthest star, planet, or galaxy man has discovered. Nevertheless, it was from within water chose to bring forth creations.
When you read, “God created the heaven and the earth” do we see there was water and inside this water things were without form and void? Creation was created and pulled out of this water. All were born from water, if you will. God separated and created an entire universe from inside this water. He created the entire earth and all life within it, a whole planet, from inside this water.
How big is the earth? How much water does there need to be for the earth to be submerged inside it? We may have a single dirty plate under water washing it, but God had empty water with nothing solid under water and started forming a round earth in a sink bigger than the universe.
While inside the water things had no form and it was empty of anything solid in verse two. God said in verse three, “Let there be light“. Could the sun shine it’s light inside water? Just something to think about. If God commanded it to do so I believe it would be done. In verse four God divided the light from the darkness. In verse five God named the light “day” and the darkness “night” forming the first rotation of a day.
Food for thought, could all this happened inside the water? In our minds the fire of the sun could not burn inside water, but with God anything is possible. What is the sun or the water to God? God can see clearly in darkness as He can in the day Psalms 139:12. Darkness or day He can still see freely. With God fire can burn inside water just like fire burn on a bush and never be consumed (burning bush reference with Moses, Exodus 3:1-3. This is all about the water.
It was not until verse six that God told the water to turn into a midst we call air, and divide waters from waters. In verse seven God made the sky separate from the solid water below. In verse nine God called the waters to be gathered into one place and to let dry land appear. God called the dry land “Earth” and the gathering of the waters “Seas“, verse ten. Everything was in the water.
God created and pulled from inside the “Oneness of Water” the entire planet earth that we count ourselves as ants in the face of all its massiveness. God separated the water to create the sun, stars, planets, and the moon. Our entire beginning started inside this water making it the one place that all were first born.
What is so important about the “Oneness of Water“? The whole point is what God wanted from the water. God looked at this massive amount of water that had no form and was empty with darkness sitting upon it’s surface. It is there God looked and saw what He wanted to work with in creating something. A potter sees clay that can be molded into the creation of his mind with water softening the clay into a workable state to create. The clay would not be workable without the water. We would not exist without water.
God saw Himself, being an All Present Spirit, if He were to be of solid form He would take from the water wet clay and create a solid form in His Spirit likeness and image. Water has a way of looking like it is everywhere at once with solid things visible within it. God is everywhere all at once with solid things visible within Him. The difference between God and water is that God has a Spirit form with arms, legs, head, and body along with intelligence; whereas water does not possess the ability to have a water form nor the knowledge, power, and presence.
How many of us looking into clear water see water itself in a solid outlined watery form? We don’t. You can even reach your hand inside water and grab around inside it never finding a solid form of water to hold onto. We see the solid objects within it, but not a solid outlined intelligent of a water form. God saw us as His children in the Spirit likeness and image of Himself within Himself and what He would be if He were solid among us.
God changed the water into many different forms to create the air we breathe, the land we walk upon, and the water we can swim in. There is a “Oneness of Water” I believe God wants us to see. We were born from water and depend on water to live. Water regulates our body temperature, keeps our eyes/nose/mouth moistened, protects body organs/tissues, carries nutrients/oxygen to cells, lubricates joints, takes away stress on the kidneys/liver by flushing the waste out, and dissolves minerals/nutrients making them accessible throughout the body.
God created everything that we know from within the water. The water is the first delivery birth of all creation. Elements of water found on other planets should not be a shock. How big is God? How big was the water? Our minds are use to limits, but with God there are no boundaries or limits.
The first birth of creation was from water only. He created us in His image and likeness, which means everything about us reveals a tiny portion of His All Knowledge, All Presence, and All Power. Inside of our bodies flows the precious complex liquid made of proteins, nutrients, ions, and water called blood. God said the blood is the life of the flesh Lev. 17:14 . All of this was born from within the water by God’s complex and wonderful design for all us to discover.
When mankind sinned against God condemning all of us in the beginning it caused a separation from us with God. Before it was to late for us to be saved God inserted a promise seed to be born from His pure water and with pure blood of the flesh having the power to forgive sins. The “Oneness of Water” was not to be broken.
The second birth from the “Oneness of Water” would be us going back into the water. John the Baptist, a messenger sent from God, was telling everyone they needed to repent of their sins in the baptism of water. Return to the water in which I created you, but with a heart of regret determined to never do it again. God was pointing to the “Oneness of Water“. From the water I have taken you and to the water you shall return.
Mankind was born from the water pure, but chose to sin against God, and could not return to the original purity of the water without a cleansing eternal power of a second birth of the water, which added a need of an additional part to the second birth of the spirit for mankind to be saved. Repent was the first stage to return to God, water baptism, and the infilling o the Holy Spirit.
God fulfilled and created His promise seed inside a virgin woman Mtt. 1:23-25 in pure water and in pure blood with His image and likeness of Himself. Inside this body He focused the fullness of His three basic elements that we can understand of His All Knowing, All Power, and All Presence called the Godhead Col 2:9 God’s focus of His Deity and Godhead did not stop being everywhere else much like water can be inside something and still be everywhere else. I know that is possibly a crude analogy, but it is my attempt to see the revelation of the oneness of God and His love for the oneness of water.
Jesus was God in Spirit form in the beginning before the creation from water and God saw Himself as Jesus, the man, if He were to be of solid form, which was known as the Word after the creation from water. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” This is where God is trying to explain to us He took from His Spirit form thoughts the plans (Word) a created a planet from within water a place He could live on if He were of solid form (Jesus) fulfilling the part of becoming flesh and dwelling among us in the world that He made from water Jn. 1:1-3, 14.
Jesus spent his ministry going towards the water of purification for all who would want to be born again of the water and of the Spirit Jn. 3. Jesus was the only person who could enter into the water of oneness, forgive sins, and return from the water creating the way, the truth, and the life that no man can come to God without him Jn. 14:6 .
JESUS and the ONENESS OF WATER
Why the “Oneness of Water“? God started creation in a central location with one substance holding all the ingredients He wanted to use. Sin caused us and the world to lose that first state of purity separated from God. He wanted to save us by providing a way to return to that central location with one substance holding all the ingredients of redemption He wants to use. Jesus was born with all the ingredients and power to provide that doorway through the water back to the purity God once gave us.
The Spirit of God formed a pure male seed inside a virgin girl Luke 1:30-35 creating a body with pure water and blood. This is where the importance of the water and the blood play a huge and necessary part in our second chance with God. In the beginning creation did not need pure blood because it was already born from pure water and the elements inside the water. After sin entered the world we need eternal pure water and eternal pure blood to save us.
God sent a man, John the Baptist, preaching and preparing everyone to get use to returning to the “Oneness of Water” in baptism. This return to the water was only for mankind, God’s children, and not the whole earth. John the Baptist preached water baptism as the way towards repentance and being sorry for your sins and that someone was coming after him with not only water baptism, but Holy Spirit baptism. God’s plan of salvation of water and Spirit.
The gospels started off with the birth of Jesus and the start of his ministry was about water baptism. Creation started off with the birth from water forming a world for the purpose of the fellowship of God with His children. Jesus was God in the flesh wanting to return to that fellowship. Can God be as lonely as we are? His love hungers for our fellowship.
When Jesus went to John he refused to baptize Jesus because he felt unworthy to baptize him. Could John talk Jesus out of the water baptism? Was it optional with Jesus? Jesus, the man, had the knowledge of God that the “Oneness of Water” had to be fulfilled making a doorway through Jesus for us. Jesus encouraged John to push past his feeling of unworthiness because water baptism was necessary and a must to “…fulfil all righteousness“.
The baptism was a must, a requirement for them both to “…fulfil all righteousness“. Going down into the water was fulfilling ALL righteousness? Jesus went down alive like us today under the water becoming one with the water and rising up out of the water alive like us today to “…fulfill ALL righteousness“. Righteousness started in the “Oneness of Water” and it will finish in the “Oneness of Water” if mankind so chooses.
After Jesus came up out of the water the clouds pushed back making an open hole of sunlight shining down upon him as John saw what he believed to be the Holy Spirit of God in a bodily shape of a dove descending down to land softly upon Jesus with a voice from heaven, “…This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mtt. 3:14-17
God created light from the water and it was good Gen. 1:4. He was pleased. God created the dry land and separated the seas from the water and it was good Gen. 1:10. He was pleased. God created the grass, herbs, and trees to produce after itself and it was good Gen. 1:12. He was pleased. God gave the day the authority to rule over the night and it was good Gen. 1:18. He was pleased.
God created the creatures of the sea and sky and it was good Gen. 1:21. He was pleased. God created the animals of the earth and it was good Gen. 1:25. He was pleased. God created mankind in His Holy Spirit image and likeness if He were to be of a solid form and seeing everything He created was very good Gen. 1:31. He was pleased.
All of creation had God’s approval and He was very well pleased at the goodness He had created. After His children sinned corrupting everything with death and disease God was no longer pleased. Jesus, the man, was the first and only created birth after sin God could say once again “…I am well pleased“ made of the pure Spirit, the water, and the blood.
Jesus is the witness to all of us in the earth, made of God Himself, His Spirit in bodily form with water and blood. This is why John saw after baptizing Jesus the heavens opening up with God speaking about His Word being in flesh form, dwelling among us with His Spirit approval that it was good and he is well pleased with the body He created for Himself to dwell – God among us. God was making a witness statement for the body He was dwelling in Jn. 5:6-9 before John and all the people standing around.
Side Note After Water Baptism
It is interesting after the water baptism of Jesus he was sent to the wilderness for the purpose of being tempted by the devil. After creation from the water the devil goes to Eve and Adam to tempt them. They give into the devil bringing sin into all the world. God in Jesus takes it to the devil.
The devil basically tells Eve and Adam God is lying and you won’t die if you eat the fruit of death. The devil continued saying, your eyes will be opened as if they were blind to the real truth about God. You will be as gods equal with God and possessing both the knowledge of good and evil inside yourself like Him. The devil said you won’t die, eyes will be opened, be as God knowing good and evil Gen. 3. Eve fell for it and Adam wanted the power.
In comparison the devil with Jesus said to turn these stones into bread so you don’t die even though God has called you to fast, basically the same to eat and not die going against God’s will lie. The devil wanted Jesus to jump off a high place to see God will catch him. Eve and Adam was go ahead and God won’t let you die eating the fruit He said would cause death. The devil wanted Jesus to worship him for all the power of the kingdoms of the earth and with Eve and Adam it was to be equal with God in the power of knowledge of good and evil. Mtt. 4:1-11.
WATER SINGLE POINT OF ENTRANCE
To be saved is based upon paying the eternal sin debt Eve and Adam passed down upon all of us in mankind. Nothing was, is, or will be born pure enough to pay that sin debt, except Jesus. He was, is, and always will be the pure water, blood, and Spirit entrance back to God. Jesus is the water and Spirit entrance to God.
Remember the earth was born from the water pure and did not need a payment of blood to pay death. After sin took over God put into motion a rebirth of water and Spirit paying the eternal blood debt owed by mankind. Only eternal can pay eternal law and Jesus is that eternal payment for mankind.
Jesus taking all the sins of the world into his body while he bled out dying in our place on the cross, was buried, and resurrected by the Spirit of God. Jesus became the water, blood, and Spirit single point of entrance to eternal life with God.
How important is the “Oneness of Water“? Jesus, God speaking directly from inside his body, said, “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jn. 3:3 The “…cannot see…” reminds me of when Jesus told John that they must do this water baptism to fulfill all righteousness. We won’t get past the judgment seat of God to see the kingdom of God without being born again of water and of Spirit.
What is being born again the man wanted to know from Jesus. Jesus said, remember these are the words God is speaking through Jesus to him, “…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” Jn. 3:5 This is God focused back onto the water in which He brought creation from and applying the eternal making alive Spirit to the second birth requirement.
This is not a birth known commonly of the world from flesh to flesh, but a birth from heaven by the Spirit to your spirit. The baptism of water is not for washing your body and clothes. It is a physical water baptism applying the spiritual forgiveness of all sin that the blood in the name of Jesus is applied to you clearing your conscience/spirit/soul before God while your body is feeling the physical watery burial come over you with Christ and the watery resurrection coming up out of the water with Christ becoming a new creature in Christ Jesus.
It is in the “Oneness of Water” where the name of Jesus applies to us all that is within that name. All that is within the name of Jesus is applied to us in water baptism. What is in that name? It is a very deep subject as to what all is in that name, but for the “Oneness of Water” it is the God given power of the washing away of all sins by the blood of sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
After water baptism in Jesus name God has promised the infilling of His Holy Spirit with power, which is the born again of the Spirit. This is another deep subject, but something God wants you to have more than you want it. All of this is epic what God has done for the saving of our souls.
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Rom. 6:4
