God’s Side

I have discovered over time that God loves to share with us if we will take the time and slow down to look and listen for Him. He loves to open our perception and understanding so the healing process can begin converting the bad into the good. The Spirit of God started a fellowship with mankind in the garden of Eden at the beginning of creation. A true relationship has a sharing of themselves in an agreement of oneness. You have your unique ways and the other has their unique ways that come together in the middle with an acceptance of agreeing as one. Even though we broke the relationship God has not given up on continuing that relationship with you and I. He is completely all about bringing us back together. This is the greatest almost hidden in plain sight love story to all the world. People get to caught up with quickly bashing God and lashing out to Him with the blame for all things bad that happens.

I often visit the garden of Eden looking for answers of why would Adam and Eve go against God’s warning of the only tree in the entire world that would bring death upon them and why were they not satisfied with all the other things. The first thing God explained to me about the garden of Eden was He created  Adam and eve (including all of us today) like Himself with the complete freedom of choice (free will). Also, on a side note the angels possess this freedom to choose. This is why there are a great number of them in darkness converted to the opposite of goodness because of their free will choice. Again, they were not happy with the way God had things set up, which is amazing to me how much better could you be than what God has set up? I have always tried looking from their point of view seeking wisdom and understanding for with it the power of awareness is released inside of me and you.

All the evil in this world is due to a free will choice Adam and Eve made with the devil. God gave Adam and Eve, His children, complete authority over all the earth and whatever they did impacted the entire earth. When they chose to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God had warned would bring death. Their free will choice effected the rest of the world bringing death, hell, and disease. IT IS NOT GOD’S FAULT we made the choice and our free will choice brought this upon us just as you and I today make bad choices. Again, that is on our side of this partnership of existence with God.  God loves us so much that even in our bad choices as a loving Father He put into motion a plan to save us from that bad choice.

As I am reading in the book of Genesis I have visited the creation to the best of my imagination witnessing the dark and void of empty space as God speaks “Let there be light“, separating them calling the light “Day” and the darkness “Night“; seeing the waters separate into the air we breathe, water separated from land we stand on, and the shinning stars in space. I have stood there looking on the ground at the lifeless form of a man created from the dust of the earth watching as the Spirit breath of God enters the man his outward skin smooths out with the color of life. Animals and birds roaming free upon the trees, grass, fields, streams, and mountains. God watching Adam name all the animals. God not liking Adam being alone and He caused a great sleep to fall on Adam taking a rib from Adam creating a help mate so he would not be alone. Sun, moon, day, night, water, air, land, grass, herbs, trees, fish, birds, animals, man and woman created with individual purpose of life.

All the while these things were going through my mind. He (God) dropped the thought in there about how He gave Adam and Eve (and us) the free will to choose that there are always at least two sides to a story, more than a one way street, and a sharing one with another. I stood there once again in the garden of Eden in my imagination and I now saw everything there was from God’s free will choice. He wanted by the free will of His choice the sun, the moon, the day, the night, the waters, the air, the land, the grass, the herbs, the trees, the fishes, the birds, the animals, the man and the woman all created with individual purpose of life. God’s free will. He is the other side of our partnership. I have always studied hard about Adam and Eve, creation, and the devil’s tactics causing the fall of mankind, but I have never slowed down until now to look at creation as something that came from God’s free will choice – His heart. He wanted the sun, moon, the earth, and mankind. He wanted us. All of this was born from God’s free will. God has so much respect for free will that He gave it to us. Now, I see creation respecting His side of this partnership as something He wanted. It is amazing when you start looking for His heart and His will behind things of the past, present and future.

Now, I am staring at God’s side as He deals with something He did not want to happen in the garden of Eden. He did not want Adam and Eve to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because it would bring death. If He did not care He would not have said anything to Adam and Eve, but He did want them to understand the after effects of their choice. You may ask why did God even put the tree there? We can not truly stand strong and independent like Him if we cannot face both good things and bad things making the right free will choice within ourselves – strong within. God created His temple with all the angels as He wanted it in heaven. He is a God who is not afraid of choices. The angels had the free will to choose inside of them. This is what God wanted – God wanted free will. God chose for Himself that He is a God of goodness, love, and light, but for there to be a choice there has to be another side to goodness, love, and light to make a choice. The one tree of the knowledge of good and evil was a part of the free will choice, but He directed Adam and Eve to stay away from it because He had already experienced some of the angels that chose to go from their eternal good state that He created into their own creation of the opposite – eternal evil state. He started them off with His choice and heart beat, but they and us wanted to try the other opposite side of God. None of the evil is God’s fault.

Look at God right now as you would another person seeing them with their own desires and free will choices. This will absolutely blow your mind, heart, and soul once the eyes of your spirit start looking for God in the background with the people of the Bible, people of the world, and us today having His own hopes, desires, and will just waiting there for us to turn into His open arms.

Woman at the Well

Jesus , God in a fleshly body, left Judea and went back to Galilee because he wanted to go through Samaria. God had a desire and will to go through specifically Samaria. Jesus was tired and stopped at a well of great importance to the local people not because of its water source only, but because Jacob had given it to his son Joseph. He was alone at the well because his disciples went into town to buy food. As Jesus sat at the well a Samaritan woman came to draw water having a pitcher in which to put it in. When she got closer Jesus spoke up and asked, “Will you give me a drink?” The first words out of the Samaritan woman’s mouth were “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” She was immediately jumped onto the defensive side because at this time there was a separation of Jews having nothing to do with Samaritans. Jesus replies, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” God did not want to focus on racial gaps of mankind. “Sir“, the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?” “Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?” Staying on the defense she points to her ancestry challenging Jesus value in comparison. Jesus answers, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” God desires to stay on the water of eternal life. The woman replies, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” Now, she is opening up the gate to her defensive walls. Her reactions are coming from her will and desires. Jesus told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” God is going from the water of eternal life to something inside of her that needs attention first – His desire at work. She says, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” The woman says, “Sir, I can see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem” She closes her gate peering out from the crack of it stating what she believes and challenging the topic of true worship. Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. God desiring for her to see the truth of water and worship must be in spirit and in truth coming from within  her spirit. The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Now, her mind, heart, and soul has seized up with the “understanding is beyond us” and someone else will come along to teach us attempting to pass this down the road into the future. Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” God wanted to bring her back from the future thinking into the present with the offer of eternal water, her husbands, and where to worship God. At this moment the disciples arrive finding Jesus, a Jew, talking with this Samaritan woman. In their minds they were saying to the woman, “What do you want” or to Jesus they were thinking “Why are you talking with her?” At this awkward quite moment the woman leaves for town with her water jar left behind with Jesus and his disciples.

God’s Desire

This is where God desired to go. He wanted to be alone at this well waiting for just her. Put yourself in her shoes that God is making His way to a place to meet with just you alone. She arrives and God asks her for water. Her eyes see only a man with Jewish garments identifying his nationality and immediately throwing out words of defense against prejudiceness in the land. God wanted to help her with her spiritual thirstiness. He did not respond to the prejudice statement. It did not concern Him. His desire and His free will was looking past what nationality her flesh was and was more interested in the condition of her spirit. Her will was to defend herself against this what she thought condescending Jew. His will was locked  onto connecting with this thirsty soul. God wants her to know there is water He can give that is living water. Keeping her wits about her she sees nothing to reach into the well of Jacob to draw water from and she says to Him “you have nothing to draw” it with. This is amazing she was unknowingly saying to God you have nothing, yet to God He wanted to fill her nothing with His something. She continues to say,  are you greater than Jacob who dug it, drank from it, and watered his livestock? God wanted to guide her from the physical water she was focused on to the spiritual water He has to offer. God wanted her ears to hear everyone that drinks from this physical well will thirst again, but the water I shall give will completely satisfy the thirsty soul and become a spring of water welling up inside them all the way to eternal life. His water of life is not hidden in some deep dark well in the earth, but sitting right next to her looking her in the face seeing the condition of her soul with love.

God’s side to this meeting is here I am with open arms allow Me to help you. Her side started with defense, slight opening of the gate, closing the gate, opening the gate, and going back to town in wonder of what just occurred. God wants what separates her from Him to be removed so they can become one. I can see love in His eyes for her. It was a must in His heart to go to this certain place. She was going to be there. As you are reading this and I am typing this I can feel Him reaching to you and me with a certain desire for each us. He has a longing desire from His side to touch us and help us to join Him in a oneness of fellowship. I say, Lord let your Spirit speak to me and speak to whoever is reading this now.

God’s Will – continued

She now wants this water He speaks of, but He wanted and desired to first work with what was inside her before getting the water. He said to her to call her husband and come back. She told the truth that she had no husband, but there was something there God wanted to help her with (He wanted). God wanted her to truly see Him now. He told her you have said the truth to me, but you have had in the past five husbands and the man you are now with in sin is not your husband. God was sitting at this well-looking into her soul with a desire to help her. She had been with a total of six men and was still unsatisfied. She realizes this is no ordinary man sitting at the well and she goes back to playing the racial card that you Jews say you must worship in Jerusalem when our ancestors worshiped God in this mountain attempting the avoidance of the husband issue. God respects her detour and continued to share with what He wanted to free her from that worship will no longer be restricted to certain areas, but free to everyone everywhere from inside their hearts. God pointed her towards the salvation that will happen inside the Jewish people that will go to all the world. It will be to all that will worship in spirit and in truth for this is what God desires. God’s will from His side of this partnership is to be loved in spirit and in truth. She stays on track with her side of the fending off with that the Messiah will explain all of this when he comes. God looking at her through the eyes of Jesus opens His mouth and says to her “I, the one speaking to you – I am he“. God wanted her to stop running from the things within herself and come to Me for I will give you rest for your weary soul.

Woman left for Town

When she arrived in town she started telling the people Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?  They came out of the town and made their way toward him. Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did. So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world. (John 4). Now, God has not only reached one lost daughter, but a great number of other sons and daughters from town. Allow God to meet with you, talk with you and you with Him in all your defenses and concerns. If you will hang in there with Him you may find yourself so happy that you find yourself trying to get others to give Him a chance and meet with Him as you did.
