Invisible Bridge of Love

We miss so many things on a daily basis. It saddens my heart when I see myself and others running over to quickly the things that matter most. I may never be debt free, financially set, possess all the things I dream about, bless my children, or go to the places I desire. You and I can have some things no matter our status in this physical world. I see us taking steps towards the invisible bridge of love by our eyes of faith into the sweet and blessed fellowship of the Spirit of God and His word. The only cost is our time and after that whatever our heart wills. We, unfortunately get to busy in this life in what “WE” call living. We rush by some of the most important treasures we could have in our minds, hearts, and souls that no physical things of this world could ever give us. I am making myself slow down and savor every moment with God and His word. For I know it is making me a better person inside and out irregardless of my classification in this world. Walk with me and see this invisible bridge of love that is in front of us everyday that all we have to do is look.

Jesus the man, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, with the fullness of God inside of him (Col. 2:9) walking among us headed towards a town called Nain (Luke 7:11). I believe this fullness of God inside of Jesus had the perfect Love looking upon us with patience, kindness, no envy of our earthly possessions, not boastful of who he was, not proud with a better than you attitude, not rude towards us, not selfish, not easily angered by our faults, keeping no records of our wrongs – but forgiving, no delight in evil, rejoices with the truth, always protecting us in various ways, always trusting for a better outcome, always hopeful for us, always persevering for our good, a love that never fails us (1 Cor. 13:4-8). As Jesus walked towards this town with a large crowd following him to see what he would do, but inside his eyes was the look of God’s invisible bridge of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Gal. 5:22) gazing into all the souls.

Coming Down the Road:

As Jesus and the large crowd following him approached the gate to enter into Nain a large crowd was approaching the gate to go out of the town of Nain. The crowd with Jesus going into had the resurrection and the life with them. The crowd the mother going out had the death and the loss of a precious life with them. Life going in and death coming out. Life meeting death at the gateway of the town.  Jesus, God manifested in the flesh, saw the mother with a sight of complete clearness of her heart, mind, and soul. What Jesus saw specifically inside of her is unknown exactly, but whatever it was drew the compassion out of him to cross over the invisible bridge of love and said to her “Don’t cry” (Momma don’t cry). The life crowd and the death crowd are meeting face to face. Jesus walking past the mother touched the coffin and said “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The man who was in the grip of death was loosed by the hands of Life sat up and starting talking. Jesus gave him back to his mother (Luke 7:11-15). This is what I see: Jesus with one hand holding the young man’s hand sitting up in the coffin and his other hand holding the mother’s hand to receive her son. Jesus between them in a bodily form of the cross showing us the invisible bridge of love God has towards us.

Jesus changed the uncleanness of death to purified of life. He returned that which was lost to the mother all because he saw something inside of her that redeemed a second chance. The crowd of life following Jesus witnessed the crowd of death turned into life. Jesus said the time is coming and has come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear (key word is HEAR) will live crossing over from death to life (John 5:25, 24). This crowd was seeing a type and shadow of what Jesus was going to do on the cross for all of mankind. In one hand of the cross he had death and sin, the other hand he had forgiveness of sin by the blood of the lamb of God. He returns us to the fellowship of God no longer separated by the laws of death. All that is required of us is to have that something inside our hearts that causes Him to redeem us with a second chance.

That Something Inside:

After Jesus died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and rose again to life on the third day he passed on the ministry he had received from God the Spirit to his apostles. A crowd was gathered again around the apostles and was made aware of their death sentence state, even though they were physically alive death was upon them. They wanted to know what should they do to be free from this coffin of death waiting for them. The invisible bridge of love from death to life was revealed to them to repent (turn away from sins) and be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God applying the blood of the Lamb, which is in the name of Jesus, for the forgiveness of sins and receive the Holy Spirit just like the apostles for it is a promise to you, to your children (generations) and for all who are far off (Acts 2:38, 39). Jesus is still the bridge of love between us and God made visible by the word of God and His Spirit.

Let Jesus say to your heart “Don’t cry” (sorry for your sins), feel Him touch your spiritual coffin of death (water baptism in Jesus name), hear Him say the words of “get up!” (receive the Holy Spirit of life), and let Jesus return you to the fellowship of God our Father. Those same eyes are upon us right now as you are reading and as I am typing. I want my eyes and your eyes of faith to see this and feel this ever-present bridge of love every moment though invisible to the flesh, but undescribingly present upon our spirit. Are our thoughts alive and sensitive to Him? We cannot afford to read God’s word so quickly. His word is full of Spirit and life. May you start your daily journey with God having a quickness to hear with perception and understanding and a slowness to speak and anger.

From Within Himself – Part 1

God is spirit…” and “…spirit hath not have flesh and bones” (Jn. 4:24 & Lu. 24:39). God the Father is Spirit and it is easy to see how God in His Spirit is omnipresent, which means He is everywhere at the same time. He is unlimited in Spirit whether you want to think in size, width, height, length, left, right, up or down. He is all these things at the same time. Being present everywhere at the same time makes Him vast beyond our comprehension. An attempt on our part to wrap our minds completely around God’s existence is an unapproachable and explosive to our thoughts (key word completely). In Job under the inspiration of the Spirit of God asked us a question, “Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?” I am here to tell you, “Yes, you can know the mysteries and secrets of God because He wants us to know Him”, but you have to be willing to take those steps yourself. He has given the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven to us, but not to all (Mt. 13:11). This is the part where we have to make ourselves stop bringing God down to our boxed in minds and lift our minds up into the heavens and see from His Spirit like Peter. Flesh and blood did not reveal to Peter the words he spoke to Jesus, but God the Father who is Spirit (present everywhere at the same time) gave this mystery to Peter’s mind (Mt. 16:13-18). The key words are flesh and blood did not reveal this unto Peter, but the all present Spirit of God was heard inside of Peter. All things came from within God as our faith from within ourselves see outwardly with understanding that the physical was formed by the invisible all present God (Heb. 11:3). I hope as you read that the Spirit will reveal to you how “From Within Himself” God has done everything and is still working from the Within.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Gen. 1:1). We can look up into the sky and see clouds, birds, and the sun shining. At night we can look up into the sky and see stars and the moon. From air crafts in the sky we can look down and see the land and great bodies of water. From space we can see the earth, stars, and other planets. Man can stand on a mountain top on a clear day and his eyes can gaze upon 100 miles of valleys, streams, lakes, rolling hills, and forests. What is difficult for man is to take what his eyes can see and perceive that God is everywhere at the same time in all that his eyes can look upon and beyond – the visible and the invisible. If our physical eyes could see from the ground of the earth all the way to furthest discovered star or planet we would still fall short in reaching the present everywhere at the same time God. As a small example when looking at God: physical computers upload and download billions of communicating information using electricity or battery power to do what they do. God’s presence, knowledge and power is in everything uploading and downloading with zero lag or down time. God is outside of time because He is eternal. We are inside time. He sees us the same clearly from the farthest known star system or from the smallest atom closest to us. This is how He can be the One God He revealed to Israel and in the Bible because He is everywhere at the same time – hence One God. You cannot divide omnipresent. God the Father, who is Spirit, cannot be divided. A house divided against itself cannot stand (Mk. 3:25). Can you imagine God in all His vastness trying to explain His Omnipresence to creation? There is no creation outside of God that can handle or comprehend God’s omnipresence, omnipotent, and omniscient completely? God has always gone through things to communicate with creation for He is that unapproachable Light that no one has seen or can see (1 Tim. 6:16). It is easy to see God in plurality forms when looking from the earth and the heavens because we cannot get outside of Him – He is One Omnipresent God (everywhere at the same time) only “From Within Himself” can we see. God reveals Himself in only a way that we can understand (Rom. 1:20) leaving us with no excuse.
God the Father, the unapproachable Light, the everywhere Spirit went through a spirit Image from within Himself of what He would be like for creation to be able to have interaction with Him and not die (key words – not die). Even God’s spirit Image, the Word “From Within Himself” that He communicated through to His creation was so powerful to the point of unapproachable that the Angels, eternal beings, had wings that covered their faces to His Holiness(Is. 6:2). It may be sinking in about now how a fearful understanding this is about the One True God being all present everywhere at the same time when you start to think He sees my soul, my spirit, my bones, my flesh, my thoughts, my attitude of my heart right now, that nothing in all creation is hidden from His sight. “Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Heb. 4:12, 13 NIV). This adds a whole new meaning to all scriptures for instance: “For in him we live , and move , and have our being ; as certain also of your own poets have said , For we are also his offspring.” Acts 17:28. Everything is uploading within God instantly with zero lag.
From Within Himself:

God created everything from within Himself because you cannot get outside of Him – He is omnipresent (everywhere at the same time). The present everywhere God chose to speak through His Spirit Image, the Word, which is the only approachable part of God, a heaven and an earth into existence. In Genesis God in the Hebrew language looks like a plural God as gods and sounds like a plural God when He speaks. Keep in mind this One True God the Father is Spirit present everywhere with a spirit Image of Himself between us and Him because of the unapproachable light that we would die in if exposed to its purest Holiness. God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule…” It is strange to us when someone speaks to themselves, but it would not be strange if we spoke to our self if we existed all over the world. If I was standing in a market square in the United States and I also existed everywhere else including downtown Japan and started talking to myself in Japan it would not be strange, but completely normal for me because I am there and here at the same time. It is not strange that God the Father, the Spirit, present everywhere said to Himself, the approachable spirit Image “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule…” (spirit and form) because we are made in His Image. We are made of body, soul, and spirit – one person. For anything to be made in an all present everywhere at the same time God could only have a likeness to Him. No creation has the capacity to be God. This is why God chose and shared with the Abraham and his children that they may know, believe, and understand that He is “I am who I am”, “I am He”, and no god was formed, nor will there be one after Him, He alone is the savior (Is. 43:10, 11). God said, I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God (Is. 44:6). There is nothing outside of the One, True, All existing everywhere at the same time God. All births came “From Within Himself”, God created Adam from within the earth and from the breath within God. Man is made in the likeness of God. The complexity of man’s body design pales in the pureness of God Himself, but it is a pattern and symbols of God (Head with eyes, ears, nose, mouth, brains…, chest with heart, lungs…, lower body creation, legs…, all connected in one by nerves, blood veins… almost a solar system within itself). God created His children from within Himself. He, also, created woman from within man (took a rib) and the children of mankind are born from within. All births come from the inside.

This now leads into “From Within Himself” Part 2 understanding of why God placed inside of man the promise seed to deliver mankind, His children, from the hands of death, hell and the grave. From within man the savior would be born. God placed His spirit Image (the approachable), Word inside the birth generations of mankind creating the perfect Lamb of God to redeem His children another example of “From Within Himself” (Col. 1:13-22). I hope you see the fearful awe of God being everywhere at the same time. You will never be the same as you look around yourself and the creations around you, nor will you read His word the same seeing Jesus knowing and doing things that only an all present God could give to him to say and do.

Best Roommate

I was visiting a dear friend in the hospital. He had both kidneys transplanted a few years back and he was in the hospital under life threatening conditions. They were not sure how long he was going to live. When you are standing by the bed of someone you care about and their family the words to say do not come easy. I want to speak words that are true comfort and not made up to pacify the moment. You can see I am not the only one, but everyone’s face around the room has the sign of the lost for words to speak.

The doctors and nurses were doing all the right things they were trained to do and beyond. The machines and tubes were doing there assigned jobs to keep him alive. The cards and flowers sitting in the window seal and table brought warmth to the room. The cards standing on their ends with different pictures and words added a homeliness to the hospital room. Hospitals have a strange feeling to me because I know the hospital is the most of the time the last door before death, even with routine surgeries it maintains that air about it before death. Hospitals subconsciously represent the circle of life. We are born there as babies without knowledge of the event, but we return there for most with full knowledge before death is nearby.

ICU is streaming with busy people flowing in and out of rooms doing their jobs at the best of their abilities, yet for the one in the bed an air of loneliness shrouds them. The halls have people walking towards the room the nurse told them their loved was located with more flowers, cards, and fruit baskets. Their faces tell the story of who they are getting ready to visit. The saying, a picture is worth a thousand words become very clear as you watch their faces go by. The visitors you see are of all ages from the very young to the very old.

As I stand there by the hospital bed of my friend not knowing what to say or do because all was being done and said by the staff of the hospital that has seen these conditions a thousand times. I was in a reality check of truth knowing there was absolutely NOTHING I personally could do for him. It did not matter if I was the fastest or strongest man on earth it was as though I was the slowest and weakest man on earth in the face of my dying friend. It did not matter if I was the quickest wit, the smartest man, or the most skilled man alive in the building my friend was facing his time and chance without any of us in control. This battle of life had elements beyond anyone in that room.

A few words were spoken whether he heard them or not no one truly knew. Silence was upon the people in the room only the machines made their noises of operations. As I was feeling it was time to leave in all my helplessness I could not leave without giving my friend the only thing I could offer – words of prayer. When you pray you start thinking about the people in the Bible that faced similar situations. You know if God wanted to just speak the word he would heal our friend. As I was closing with what few words from my heart I could pray the “Still Small Voice” spoke to me to say in the prayer to him that “he had the best Roommate that anyone could ever have.

Later, he started a full recovery to the surprise of the hospital staff. He had a great number of people doing the same thing I was doing – praying. He is now back in everyday life working, playing with his daughter, being a husband once again. He was a man who allowed God into his life and was ready to meet his Maker before this sickness hit him.

Those words ignited something in me. I had never thought of it or heard it in that fashion before. “He had the best Roommate that anyone could ever have” The wheels of understanding began to roll down the road of my mind with the headlights shining so brightly. When a person under the “freedom of choice” chooses to allow the Word of God and His Spirit to live inside of them. They are no longer alone inside their bodies. They have God as a roommate inside their minds, hearts, and souls. There is a several passages that speaks of God being our roommates: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?”, “The Spirit of truth… you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

The best Roommate that anyone could ever have” changed me from that moment on. As a child there were extremely lonely times. As a teenager being all alone became the normal against all my efforts to have friends, girlfriends, and best friends. As an adult the extraordinary lengths I would go to attain fellowship. For many decades of efforts and long desires to have someone by your side who understood you, safe to be yourself without any repercussions, or ulterior motives. I now understand if I never acquire the human fellowship I will never be alone because I have “The best Roommate that anyone could ever have” and whatever we face that is bigger than us our Roommate has it all under control.

Living life to its fullest can be an experience beyond the surface you see physically when you have “The best Roommate that anyone could ever have” living inside you. I leave you with this thought, “Do you have a roommate inside?” If your answer is yes, is it “The best Roommate that anyone could ever have“? If your answer is no, then I would encourage you seek Him out to be your “best Roommate that anyone could ever have“. Thank you, and have a great day in-spite of what comes your way.
